Support Xiangqi School

Learning, playing, ratings, fair play and analysis are free for everyone, with no ads, forever. The site is run by one volunteer as a hobby. If it helps you, you can help pay for keeping it running.

Good to know

• A gift never unlocks anything in play: no features, no rating, no priority.
• Gifts go to a private person, not a charity, so they are not tax-deductible.
• Under 18? Please ask a parent first.
• Changed your mind? Ask for a refund within 30 days, from the contact in the privacy policy.
• Payments are handled by Stripe or GitHub; the site never sees your card or account details.

What it costs

Today the site costs $0 a month: it runs on the free plans of GitHub Pages and Supabase. If it outgrows them, a paid database plan costs from $25 a month, and a domain name about $11 a year, so about $310–430 a year. Gifts are kept for that. The spending report shows what came in and what went out, every quarter.

You can help in other ways too: tell us what to improve, or share the site with someone learning Xiangqi.
