Special Rules

Flying general, no legal move loses, no perpetual check.

1. The two generals may never face each other on an open file (将帅不能照面). Here only your cannon stands between them.
2. So the cannon may move up and down the file, but not sideways: that would leave the generals facing.
3. Your general can help in the attack: Black's general may not step onto the e-file while yours faces it. Find the checkmate.
4. Black to move here has no legal move and is not in check. In Xiangqi that is a loss for Black (困毙).
5. You may not check forever. If the same position keeps repeating because one side checks every move, the checking side loses (长将判负). Chasing the same unprotected piece forever is also forbidden.
6. Red checks on every move and the position repeats three times. Who loses?
